The most successful Synth Pop band set a press conference in Berlin on October 4 , revealing details of their new 15th album “Memento mori” and Depeche Mode World Tour 2023.
During last press conference in Berlin ,Front man Dave Gahan and main songwriter Martin Gore previewed a piece of music from their upcoming LP, which they have been recording in Santa Barbara ,California.
In this event Gahan said that Depeche mode had begun writing the material a couple of years back before eventually reuniting in the studio this summer.

“We are quite far into it now, The actual recording process”, Gore explained . “we have got all of the tracks finished for the album, Without them being mixed”.
Depeche Mode World Tour 2023 : “Memento mori” is an object that is kept as a reminder of unavoidable death . According to Gore the new album is so titled , prior to passing of their bandmate Andy fletcher at 60 in may.
Gore Said : “ After passing of Fletcher, we decided to continue as we are sure this is what he would have wanted , and that has given an extra level of meaning to the project.
Obviously everyone will think that all of songs were quickly written After Andy died. But everything was planned and ready to go. Unfortunately , Andy passed away when he was really looking forward to getting started with us”. He said like this to make a sense of their bandmates absence .
Depeche Mode World Tour 2023 Along With ‘Memento Mori’ :
Depeche Mode World Tour 2023 : “Memento mori” is set to arrive in Spring 2023 via Colombia Record .An exact date not been confirmed yet.
In addition to their New album the group also revealed about A future Depeche Mode World Tour 2023, Starting with a limited shows of North America followed by Stadium tours in next summer .Prestigious venues of this tour include NYC’s Madison Garden and London’s Twickenham Stadium and others.

In August , Gahan and Gore were pictured together in a recording studio. “ Finding stability in what we love and know and focusing on what gives life meaning and purpose”, they captioned this on social media.
Depeche mode is an English electronic music brand formed in Basildon , Essex in 1980.This was formed by the line up of Gahan , Gore , Andy Fletcher and V Clarke .In 1981 The band released its debut album “ speak and spell” .Then years after year Depeche mode went on to sell more than 100 millions albums , winning over a global audience with hit singles such as “ personal Jesus”, “People are people”, “Enjoy the silence”.
The band’s last studio album “spirit” came out in 2017. In 2020 The band was inducted into the Rock and roll Hall of fame. And recently revealed Album “Memento mori” and their world tour will surely represent the opening of newest chapter of a peerless and ongoing legacy .
