The Hollywood Vampires Tour: Johnny Depp’s fans were left surprised and concerned when it was announced, just moments before his scheduled performance with Hollywood Vampires, that the show would not proceed as planned.
The musical supergroup, currently on a European tour, was set to take the stage in Budapest, Hungary on July 18. However, a sudden update appeared on their social media, stating, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Vampires will be canceling tonight’s show in Budapest.”

Given that Johnny Depp had suffered an ankle injury in June, leading to the cancellation of their previous U.S. shows, some speculated that his health might be the reason. The band had previously stated, “Johnny sustained a painful ankle injury following his recent appearances and his doctor advised against travel. He is devastated by this situation but looks forward to recovering, so all four Vampires can give their best during the European tour.”
However, as of now, there has been no official statement from the band members clarifying the exact reason for the sudden cancellation.
Formed in 2012, Hollywood Vampires is well-known for collaborating with renowned artists such as Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, and Joe Walsh. The band’s name pays tribute to a celebrity drinking club established by Alice Cooper in the 1970s.
