Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is set to play the role of Iconic opera singer Maria Callas in a biographical drama film titled “Maria”. As per entertainment news This film is based on the true accounts and written by Steven Knight of 4 “ Peaky Blinders” Fame.
“Maria” will explore the Tumultuous, Beautiful and tragic life story of Maria Callas , The great opera singer , relieved and re imagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.
This Biopic is written by Larrain’s Spencer Scribe , Oscar Nominee Steven Knight .The film maker’s brother and creative partner Juan de Dios Larrain will produce for Fabula pictures alongside Lorenzo Mieli for the appartment pictures , A fremantle company and Jonas Dornbach for Komlizen film .
When Larrain was questioned about this movie he said , “ Having the chance to combine my two most deep and personal passions , Cinema and opera has been a long awaited dream.
